COURSE DESCRIPTION

Learning Objectives 

  • Recognize patterns of social emotional intelligence within oneself
  • Explore the impact of social and emotional intelligence on teams, outcomes,  well-being, engagement, and productivity
  • Ensure participants understand what their SEIP Report is telling them about themselves 
  • Set action steps for the next 30-days


Learning Outcomes

  • Greater awareness of how SEI impacts their thoughts/feelings about themselves and others
  • Deeper attention to relationships, safety, and outcomes with their team and/or peer groups
  • A plan and commitment to focus attention to improve one quadrant of the Emotional Intelligence Matrix i.e. Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Other-Awareness,  or Relationship Management within the next 30-days
  • Post-work 30-day Action Step Commitment for increased SEI


Course Description

This training is designed to provide participants with deeper insight into their inner workings. Everyone has greater or lesser degrees of social and emotional intelligence. The greater the levels, the better the outcomes. “Pepsico, SEI programs generated: 10 percent increase in productivity, 87 percent decrease in executive turnover (saving $4M) and over 1000 percent ROI.”- Dr. David McClelland, Journal of Psychological Science.


Focused attention on increasing social and emotional intelligence skill levels reaps benefits:

This training provides managers and leaders with an understanding of the concept of social and emotional intelligence and how theirs is impacting their team and business outcomes. They will explore patterns and benefits associated with high social emotional intelligence and the detrimental outcomes created by low levels of social emotional intelligence. 


A prerequisite to taking the course is completing the Social Emotional Intelligence Profile SEIP°. Participants will be guided through the results of either their individual, 360° or Group report. Participants will have time to digest their results as well as determine a plan of action to increase their levels of social and emotional intelligence. 


Participants are walked through a 30-day action plan to immediately begin to apply what they have learned to increase their levels of social and emotional intelligence.


Prerequisite- Participants must complete the SEIP assessment prior to admission.
