Description

DiSC is a personality assessment often used in leadership development. The assessment can also be used to improve sales tactics, organizational culture, and manager/employee relationships.

Our personalities are our personalities, and there’s not much that can be done to change them. While one can’t change their personality, it’s possible to understand the role it plays in shaping our relationships and outcomes.

  • This training explores the personality traits captured by the DiSC assessment. DiSC is an acronym that stands for:
  • Dominance (D-Style): Direct, firm, strong-willed
  • Influence (i-Style): Outgoing, enthusiastic, optimistic
  • Conscientiousness (C-Style): Analytical, reserved, and precise
  • Steadiness (S-Style): Even-tempered, accommodating, patient

These behavioral traits help a person identify their DiSC Style:

This training is designed to help those who are interested in improving their soft skills such as communication, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and team building.

Participants will learn the strengths and drawbacks of their style. They will learn how others may perceive them and how to pivot in order to communicate and behave in ways that draw support and the best from others. Participants will learn the value of empathy in dealing with themselves and others and be clearer on why certain relationships work and why others don’t.

They will also learn how to repair the damage from past missteps. Participants will see themselves and their relationships through the objective eyes of their immutable personality traits.

Prerequisite- Participants must complete the DiSC assessment prior to admission.
