Course Description
One could argue that there is nothing more important to high-performing teams than the communication abilities of their manager or leader. One would be hard-pressed to find a job description that doesn’t read, “Must be an effective communicator,” yet lack of effective communication is one of the biggest complaints employees lodge.
This training provides a deep dive into the communication and behavior traits associated with the DiSC personality assessment. Often, feedback is either non-existent or obscure leaving employees without an accurate perception of their performance. Managers and leaders benefit from taking an objective look at themselves and whether their default communication and behavior styles create safe and productive work environments.
Participants will also reflect on their work relationships, projects, and initiatives to determine if they are communicating and behaving in a way that brings out the best in others, or do they trigger disengagement, attrition, lost productivity, and toxic work environments.
This workshop allows the different personality styles an opportunity to have a no-holds-barred discussion of the impact that the other styles have on their well-being, productivity, and feelings of belonging.
Prerequisite- Participants must complete the DiSC assessment prior to admission.
