BSMART Coaching is data-driven and people-centered. We believe that understanding your individual and organizational "DNA" is what sets us apart. We strive to know the real you- the good, the bad, and the not-so-pretty. Change can only occur when you see the real problem. We dig deep to provide the support you need to achieve your goals. Our goal is to leverage your strengths and provide solutions for areas of growth. Then hold you accountable to actually change for the better.
Data-Driven- BSMART Coaching uses a number of assessments to understand your managerial and leadership competencies, as well as tools to assess the health of your initiatives. The information gathered fuels our customized solution to meet your needs.
People-Centered- Unless your organization is run by robots that are serviced by robots that are serviced by other robots...you get it. You need people. Good people. To keep good people, you need excellent managers and leaders. BSMART Coaching starts with the end in mind- supporting a company's individual contributors who serve the mission. We believe that great managers and leaders operate at high levels of social and emotional intelligence and cultural competency. No initiative or organizational culture will thrive without it.
We believe the first step is to support managers and leaders to be their best selves. In order for a department, team, or organization to be its best, some basic needs must be met.
Abraham Maslow identified five human requirements that are necessary for an individual to achieve self-actualization. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs can be applied to creating self-actualized employees who effectively achieve business objectives. In order to achieve the highest performance (self-actualization) physiological, safety, belonging/love, and esteem needs must be met. BSMART Coaching helps companies identify the barriers preventing them from achieving their people-management goals.
CREATING THE CONDITIONS
Under what conditions do companies become "best places to work?" It’s not by happenstance. Best places to work happen through intentional focus on developing organizational cultures, policies, and leaders who serve the needs of their most important resource- employees. How you support the leaders in your company will directly impact the way they support their teams.
COACHING SERVICES
Seldom does one have an opportunity to receive the undivided attention, expertise, and passion of another person whose sole purpose is to help them become their best self. That’s the advantage coaching provides.
Coaching was once reserved for the top-level executives of Fortune 500 companies. These companies had the financial resources to invest in high-potential executives. CEOs of some of the most successful and largest companies have relied on executive coaches.
Today, coaching is not simply for the corporate elite but for any organization or individual serious about quickly turning leadership potential into exceptional performance. It is a powerful partnership that will help you evolve faster and more comprehensively.
BSMART Coaching offers six and twelve month coaching engagements.

DRIVEN TO KNOW YOU
How can we effectively coach if we don't know our client? How could they improve if they don't see their blind spots? How could they leverage their strengths, if they haven't identified them all? How could we measure success without a starting point?
All coaching engagements begin with assessments.
BSMART Coaching believes that social and emotional intelligence drive communication, thought, and behavior. Its impact makes or breaks relationships. With focus and effort, social and emotional intelligence are skills that can be improved.
BSMART Coaching uses the Social and Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP)® to drive targeted coaching engagements that produce results.
SEIP®- The Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP)® is the most comprehensive, statistically-reliable, scientifically-validated instrument on the market today. Based on the latest research in the field of social and emotional intelligence, the SEIP four-quadrant model (self-awareness, self-management, other awareness, and relationship management) is the model used in 75 percent of Fortune 500 companies today. The SEIP measures the 26 competencies identified as critical in socially and emotionally intelligent individuals, families, teams, and organizations.

DiSC Assessment captures the immutable characteristics that make us who we are. BSMART Coaching utilizes DiSC to provide deeper insights into what makes people tick, their strengths, and areas of caution.
DiSC®-is a personal assessment tool used by more than one million people every year to help improve teamwork, communication, and productivity in the workplace.
DiSC is an acronym that stands for the four main personality profiles described in the DiSC model: (D)ominance, (i)nfluence, (S)teadiness, and (C)onscientiousness.
People with D personalities tend to be confident and place an emphasis on accomplishing bottom-line results.
People with i personalitiestend to be more open and place an emphasis on relationships and influencing or persuading others.
People with S personalitiestend to be dependable and place the emphasis on cooperation and sincerity.
People with C personalitiestend to place the emphasis on quality, accuracy, expertise, and competency.

Unquestionably, workplaces are increasingly complex. Navigating these complexities is no easy task. Most leaders are aware that there is a strong business case for diversity, equity, and inclusion, BUT how do you manage the differences? How do you avoid stepping unwittingly into a minefield?
It starts at the individual level by first understanding how our culture has influenced our worldview and life. Only by understanding how we react to differences can we begin the journey to build intercultural competency.
Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI)®-
The Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®) is the premier cross-cultural assessment of intercultural competence used by thousands of individuals and organizations to build intercultural competence to achieve international and domestic diversity and inclusion goals and outcomes. IDI research in organizations and educational institutions confirms two central findings when using the IDI assessment.
Interculturally competent behavior occurs at a level supported by the individual’s or group’s underlying orientation as assessed by the IDI. Training and leadership development efforts at building intercultural competence are more successful when they are based on the individual’s or group’s underlying developmental orientation as assessed by the IDI.
